Temporary Information Site
Summer 2016

What is the reason for this site?

As you are aware, the DCC Moodle site is currently unavailable while we move to a new host. While you cannot get to your class sites, we still wanted to make sure that you had access to any information you might need regarding upcoming assignments, recordings, and other class information. That is where this temporary site comes in.

Alright, so how does it work?

Below, you will find links to all of the classes which are currently in session. Simply choose the link for the class you need, and you will be taken to a page which contains the info for that class.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You will not be able to submit any written assignments from this site (e.g. essays, forum posts, reflections, etc.). All written assignments must be submitted to your class site on Moodle once it is back up and running in order to be counted. This information is being provided for you so that you can continue to work on your assignments and have them ready to post when Moodle is operational again.

What about attendance?

All students who did not attend the week 5 class sessions live (either on campus or via Zoom web conference) are still required to view the Zaption lessons by 6:00 p.m. the evening before the week 6 class session. A link to your week 5 Zaption lesson may be found included in your class information on this site.

If you did not attend live in week 5 and fail to watch the Zaption lesson before the due date mentioned in the previous paragraph, then you will be counted absent for the week.

How long is this supposed to last?

We anticipate that Moodle will be available again before the week 6 class sessions on Tuesday, June 28. If, however, Moodle is still unavailable at that time, you may still use this temporary site to find the links to your Zoom conferences for live participation, as well as any other contingency information we may need to provide.

TO BE CLEAR: Week 6 class sessions WILL be held regardless of whether Moodle is up and running again or not. Zoom web conferencing operates independently of Moodle and will not be affected by this process.

What if I still have questions?

If you have a question which has not been answered by the information above or the information on your class's temporary site (via the links below), then you will need to contact us via one of these methods:
