QuickTimeŽ 7 Settings

 

To configure QuickTime 7 to play your movies:

  1. Open QuickTime Player.
  2. From the top menu, select:

Edit > Preferences > QuickTime Preferences

to get the QuickTime Settings window.

  1. Click the Streaming tab at the top of the window.

  1. From the Streaming Speed dropdown list, select your connection speed.

  1. Click the File Types tab at the top of the window.
  2. Click Use Defaults in the bottom left corner.

  1. Click the Advanced tab at the top of the window.
  2. Under Streaming, select Custom from the Transport Setup dropdown list.

  1. In the Streaming Transport window dropdown lists:
    • Select HTTP from as theTransport Protocol.

    • Select 80 as the Port ID.

  2. Click OK to close the Streaming Transport window.
  3. Click OK to close the QuickTime Settings window

Your movies should now play properly from the Internet.
