Need | Explanation |

Reliable internet connection | It is possible to do most of the class functions with a dial-up connection, but a high speed connection is recommended. Some classes contain media files up to 50 megabytes, and some classes require students to upload large media files they have created. |
Microphone for computer | Classes such as Speech and Biblical Communications II require students to record digital audio files using free software, but a microphone is required. |
Video recording capability | Classes such as Speech and Biblical Communications II require students to do a video recording of a presentation. Students without a camcorder can borrow or rent one specifically for the occasions needed (3 times as of this writing). A good webcam could also serve this purpose. |
